Ive tried the rest but "Fowlers" are the best!!!!

Retired Oil and Gas Operations Engineer. 

My Grandfather was the 1st person in Dorset to register a Foden steam wagon & steam has been in my blood ever since, I have a 3" Alchin & am building a 4" Garrett, my partner & I attend rallies all over the South of England during the summer.

Building  a 4"  1915 case  it's about 2/3 completed

I have grown up around vintage machinery, my grandad had alot of tractors, but i seem to have grown up with steam in the blood. Various people have kindly allowed me to help with their engines over the years, then, in 2006 we were lucky enough to purchase Garrett 4cd 31210 from the dingles auction. Since then i have pretty much worked on it permanently, the project has also led me on to learn quite alot more about engineering, machining a few castings myself. Finally, i think we are nearing completion.
